I have had sump kit with hang on back overflow up an running for about a week. I had been making little adjustments here and there, but yea, mine was still a little too noisy for my taste. After reading different posts in this forum about complaints and mods to fix I decided to try something on my own..... I took and cut a piece of flex 3/8 hose about 4-5 inches long and I was just going to hold it in my return cup down pipe to see if it changed the sound at all. It did, and then.... I dropped it! It slid down the large supply hose heading for my sump. I panicked at first, thinking I was going to have to tear apart my sump system to find and rescue it. But then a funny thing happened. I took a deep breath, and soon realized that my output nozzle flow had not changed, sump water level was good, skimmer cup flow and supply was good, and what you know, the gurgling flushing toilet sound was gone!!!! I suspect it is either halfway down my big suppply hose hung up in a slight bend or it is at the inlet portion of my sump feeder pipe. I'm leaving it for now. ;D;D;D
