    Yup, but, if it was on Divers Den it had been QT'd for over a month and babied :) the price is worth it for the quality of fish they supply. plus they offer a 14 day live guarantee.

    I didn't get it from divers den but did get it from liveaquaria. So that's why I didn't mind paying what I did. Plus it was on sale, so that and their special quarintine and 14 day gurantee made it all worth it

    Plus typically the price of the fish may be like $2-3, maybe $10 from a distributor. Then you pay shipping, box fees, customs fees and taxes etc. to get it into the country. Then you have QT and handling like Gresham points out. Several may die in transit and in QT due to stress. At that point you have a $100 fish. Many of these high dollar fish are scarce, unavailable, hard to find or catch, etc. It's a long stressful journey from the ocean to your tank for some of these little guys.
