no pics from me until i fix this

My main gaming machine is down until I buy some new parts.

In meantime I am only using my Ubuntu 9.04 Mini.


Problem is, java apparently isn't working. Buttons like "upload" in photobucket aren't showing up and I haven't managed to get this working yet.


So until I get main machine back up or I figure out how to get this working in Ubuntu (or someone tells me), I can't upload pics (or fight my brute for that matter!).

Just FYI if anyone cares or knows the solution.

 

"sudo aptitude install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin" try that command without the quotes, should ask for a password then install automatically, that is the firefox java applet

np man, I like seeing others use alt-os's I' m more of a CentOS man myself but Ubuntu is good stuff to I just don't know debian as well as red hat

 

hrm, well i guess it isnt my java. the package installed fine but it still is not working (i restarted to be sure of this)


to be specific, the upload buttons dont show up in photobucket. not clickable or even viewable. i do see the text that says press ctrl to select multiple...

if you have a brute, my weapon picture list thing does not show up (among some other things on that site)

youtube plays videos fine.

I have encountered no oddities on 3reef.

 

You sure that its just not running vista?
