How big is your tank, and what is in it?

Hi for r/o water youl'll have to buy a reverse osmosis unit. or buy r/o water from your lfs (local fish shop!)
The unit plumbs onto your house water supply.
And you defo need to get a protein skimmer ASAP!!!!!
its one of the main things you need for a marine set-up!
On ebay you can buy a decent prizm skimmer for around £60. or $ wherever you are in the world!??
    hope this helps

Just go into Ebay and type Protien Skimmer. Samething with a RO/DI unit. Then come back and ask questions about certain products. It just makes it easier for everyone bro!

Do you have a sump? There are different options depending on if you have a sump or if it needs to be HOB

If you dont have much money right now you would probably be better off investing in a skimmer now and then save for a RO unit. You can buy RO from LFS (usually) for now and get a skimmer
