I had never seen pictures of an anemone splitting online anywhere, so I thought it might be neat to share. Here are a few crappy pictures of one of my BTAs going asexual.

    Enjoy

Please pardon the algae on the glass, it was during the time I was trying to get it under control. It has since abated.

I will get current pictures up after I finish building my canopy, which is next week.

It's cool watching things in our tank appreciate in value. Congrats on the new addition.

Thanks Missionsix, I have actually lost track of which anem is the original as it has split several times over the last couple of years. It was cool at first, now I just think about trying to catch it moving so I can pull it out to store in the sump.

Iraf, ouch.. 200? Sorry to hear that. I GIVE these guys away to folks in the local reef club. I would expect to see a rose or a green bta have a price on it, but not these... I guess they are just very common around here. And thanks for the karma!
