    It has green tips and kind of like shag carpet is best i can think of. I want to say almost anemone like with short tenticales. If that makes sense.

    I don't directly feed mine. It does need to eat though. They eat at night.

    okay what does the brain eat. The information I found said it was meat eater and to feed it same ie.. shrimp.

    okay lol well these mushrooms are growing like crazy. Started with one like two months ago and now have 5 all over one inch in diameter. They area starting to climb onto brain. ;D

    thats not good, im pretty sure they have those stinging neumaticists(sp for sure) that will sting other corals, i would remve them, that brain is too nice to lose.

    okay will move the brain as soon as i get home. If understand correct the brain needs to be near top with light and good water flow. Tried to look up information. Regarding the mushrooms, do you think they need to come out of tank or just make sure I keep other corals away from them They are only growing on one rock right now. Is this something that is soft coral type or pest?

    what type of lights do you have?

    the mushrooms are great, but can spread quick. one of my favorite types actually :) it is a mushroom, i guess a "soft" type, not pest.

    I have three blue t12 blue and one white t12. I am looking at replacing the light system soon thought.
