No3 po4-x

Will chemi-pure or activated carbon remove No3 Po4-X?

 

No3o4-x is a product that claims to remove no3 and po4. Are you trying to remove the product no3o4-x, or no3 and po4? Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) will remove no3 and po4, but not directly, it will remove the sources before they decompose into no3 and po4. The product no3o4-x sounds to just be expensive GAC from the product description. If so, I don't think other GAC (chemi-pure is another GAC based product) will likely remove it.

 

Im trying to remove the nitrates and phosphates directly not the product.

 

Its a liquid by red sea.

 

How much carbon should be used in a 40 gal?
