I'm wondering if there is a reef safe nocturnal fish..When the moonlights come on my melanurus nosedives into the sand..my blue sided fairy finds the smallest little crevice she can..so all i have to look at is my coral banded..and all he does is sit there lookin pissed off..so if there is..let me know ! ! !

    Thanks,
    Ivan

Not to critisize anyone for not reading the OP or anything, but ...

Honestly, your choices are going to be VERY limited. In general biology, night time is the time of predators, so you really don't want them in your community reef ;)
What about just running your light cycle later? ;D

Probably not. Saw a baby at the LFS a couple of weeks ago... so cute other than the clown munching teeth.

Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Kaudern's Cardinal - Tank-Bred

I like them a lot more than the spotted cardinals i see at my lfs all the time..and i have two peaceful fish already so from what i understand they should all get along

i would say go for a bangaii cardinal, or two. If you get one, it will probably just sit there, but with two, it will be more active.

I do what Jason suggested. I run my photoperiod from about 4PM to midnight these days. Sometimes less. Ya gotta love hair algae.
