So the 40B is up and the Mu 135 is mounted. WHOA, that's a serious light!! So I have about ~40x turnover via my Koralia Evo 750's. I'm making a run to the LFS this weekend to pick up a few new adds. I'm thinking of testing myself (and my light) with an SPS. I'm just wondering what I should keep my eye out for. I want/need something on the hardy side just in case. I was thinking a small frag of montipora or stylophora. Good choices or no?

    All input welcome.

    TIA

I say those would be great choices.I would prob start with a monti cap because they tend to be a little cheaper. If the light is not working out the frags will usually turn brown if they are not getting enough light but if they look like they are losing color maybe to much light.Good luck and keep us posted-with pics as always.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes I would say those are good choices, look for Pocillpora as well.

Congrats on the new lighting. Keep you water parameters stable and consistent and you should have no problems.
