    At least you are safe and get to fight another day, I just installed a RO/DI today and had the Display Tank perform its "overflow onto the lounge carpet" routine
    All was well until the water was turned on, BTW did you all know that the filters are all wrapped inside the canisters ? LoL Gor Figure, Im glad I checked before i screwed it onto wall, I just wish I checked before I ran it for 2 hours . . . . . . . . .oh well ! LoL

    When it comes to PVC, you MUST prime and glue it, silicone will not work either. For threaded fittings, thread tape is needed. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. The only exception is that last piece of pip that goes to the sump from the drain, it is not under pressure, and if it leaks, it drips into the sump. Take it from a guy who passed a few inspections:)

    haha its not just you :). i am yet to get an RO/DI filtration system - Might be another "moment" haha :p.

    Overflowed a second time... This time the Aquaone Marisys 240 which is running my tank at the moment while the sump gets set up.....
