I have an Odyssey 4 bulb T-5 light fixture and just got new bulbs for it. Since I am changing the bulbs I have a few questions. Currently they are arranged from front to back; Act-Act-Wht-Wht. Is there a better arrangement? Can I mix the bulbs without causing any damage to the fixture (obviously, I am not an electrician). It seems that having the actinics in the front and whites in the back doesn't distribute the spectrums evenly/equally across the tank. Since I have both sets on the same timer, where I put the bulbs isn't going to be affected by timer issues.

I was thinking it might be better to go Wht-Act-Wht-Act or Act-Wht-Act-Wht. As always, all advice and comments are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jim

You can mix how you like as long as they are the same size/wattage ( I am sure they are since it is a fixture).
