Sally Lightfoots have been known to catch smaller fish and eat them. My Emerald Crab drove me crazy because it ate 3 Chromis and a Peppermint Shrimp, so I returned it to the store. Peppermint Shrimp might eat Zoanthids. The Coral Banded Shrimp may go after the Peppermint. I wouldn't get the Sea Cucumber. I would also say not to get too many Hermit Crabs. Mine are a nightmare and eat almost every snail I put in the tank. I know that Starfish need to live in an established tank so that the temperature swings and water quality don't kill him. I'm not saying it won't work. This is just information that I've found from myself and different people ;D The rest sounds good. You're definitely going to need some snails :) Talk to John at Reefcleaners.org. He'll know exactly what you need ;)

Fair point about the cucumber. Im fairly hesitant on snails. I dont think them at all, when they leave eggs all over the back glass it looks disgusting and really makes some nice tanks not so nice IMO.

Will definately look into a Midas Blenny or something similar. Thanks for the advice.

Just clean the back of the tank then. Snails are a must, imo. Your tank will look worse without them.

Thanks all, definately some good food for thought :). I think snails might be the way to go, and I will re-gig around the others especially the crabs to make sure everyone can play nice :).

+1000, the amount of work they do keeping the tank clean, glass clear, params in check, seem to far outweigh the occasional egg laying until something eats the eggs. I love my snails, they do the work for me so I dont have too.

I recommend an actual watchmen goby, they pair up with pistol shrimp and have higher survival rates. :)
