Here in the hill's we sometimes get bored and catch catfish by hand. Heres one I snatched out of a hollow log the other day. It is a 21 pound Blue Catfish. Fun sport fishing but really hard on the hand's. If a scrawny ole man like me can still catch em at 50 with bad health you should be able to whoop a shark.....

People do that in the waters behind the dam at the Lake of the Ozarks. I can't believe the size of the catfish they pull out. I know one thing. I'm NOT going to do that. They get their arms all ripped up.

My largest was a 41 pound Flathead. You should give it a go, it only hurts for a minute but theres a weird thrill to it. Or were just a weird type of fisherman.

We used to catch trout that way when we were kids. Of course we didn't have to worry about turtles, snakes or alligators. lol But that's an impressive cat you have there!
