Christmas break, yes. and for the 6 paragraph thing I also needed to do an outline with this thing called Inspiration, and my paragraphs are never short; usually they have like 10 sentences and I think about what I'm gonna write instead of BSing it like most other people lol

 

Well I emailed it to him so hopefully he'll take it but i wouldnt be surprised if he took a few points off

 

Sure this might put you on bad terms with him, but you could always use your parents.

 

Use this as a learning experience. It's your responsibility to make sure you get the paper in on time and these types of things should be taken into consideration, especially with all of the reliance on technology in education now. Next time, try to get it done earlier so if you have this problem you'll have extra time.

 

yeah i guess so; well i hadnt really thought about it so thats what kind of screwed me up... well technically it is on time except i needed to upload it on his page but i couldnt since the website was down. its not really a time thing but i will admit i cudve done it earlier

 

I would say as much as it is his responsibility to get it done, it is his professors to receive it. His professor set the due date and the method of submission. So I would say if hes reasonable he would accept it.

of course if hes a jerk, your out of luck.

ah its nice being old enough that I don't have to take crap from people unless they pay me or have a badge.

 

lol well hes not really a jerk but hes kind of strict on this kind of stuff. anyway ill just forget about it, enjoy my christmas break, and deal with this stuff when i get back

 

I agree, the professor should foresee this too, but in the end, it's up to the student. Hopefully it's not a big deal. I've had 21 years of education including 7 years of higher education and most of the time the teacher/professor will work with you with this type of thing, but int he end, it's the student's responsibility. You need to think of these things and take appropriate action. I understand you're younger and may not take these things into consideration, I doubt I did when I was your age, but it's good to start doing and will help prepare you better as you gain more responsibility and others begin to rely on you getting what you need to do done.

 

All I'm saying if the teacher is reasonable he will accept it, it's not a rent check. I'm trying to help him relax he seemed a little stressed at first.

but I agree you shouldn't put off stuff.

 

yeah I know now; funny thing is that I'm probably not the only one, since other guys in my class usually upload even until later at like 10:30; I was gonna upload at 8:00 and hoped that the site would pop up at 10:30 or so, but turns out it didn't, so i got stuck in a pretty annoying situation
