Thats a great question. lol Im not totally sure. My work schedule varies from day to day so its hard to plan big things out. The way the systems were set up previously will be bit different than the way Im doing it. So there will be a decent amount of modifications made. Either way its a lengthy process and if I get busy with work I may not be home for a couple weeks. Im really trying to push onward and make as much progress as I can every day.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for work? Being gone from home for a couple of weeks at time seems like it would be hard to keep your params stable though.

I work for a flooring and caulking company. Its the family business so the only employees are my dad and I. Work has been either dead or jam packed busy. So Ill work 5 hours one week then 80 the next. I come home at night, but I usually fall asleep right away. lol Its enough to have time to feed the fish, tinker with the auto doser, stuff like that, but no where near enough time to set up a system. My mom works for UPS and wakes up at 3am or earlier every day. My "laboratory" is right next to their room so when I get home I have to be quiet so she can catch some shut eye. Its an interesting schedule but if Im not home for atleast a couple hours during the day its pretty much impossible to get anything done.

Thanks buddy! Ill make it work. I love this hobby way too much to give it up anytime soon, and like I said, I either go big or go home so after having this much water I doubt Ill ever be back to having only nano tanks. Haha.

Well I think I have finalized my floor plan! It is subject to slight changes but this is the way to best utilize the limited space I have. The drawing is not to scale obviously so bear with me.

The cabinet in the center of the room will be like an island bar sort of thing. It will act as storage and a surface to frag corals on. As for the "old shower" my house was built in 1941. That is an original shower that probably hasnt been used since the 60's. Its disgusting. I just keep the door closed and ignore it. Haha.

I have been tearing the room apart and reorganizing. Which is much easier said than done considering 99% of the things I need to move are not mine. I need approval to move just about anything. But the job is almost complete! The new corner tank has been torn down and the glass has been cleaned. Its very close to being ready for resealing. The other 6 foot frag tank is in place but I need to plumb the overflows. Before I do that the lighting tracks will be hung and the light movers installed.

Here is the 6 foot tank that is being added to the existing system set in place.

    Different angle.

Laminate countertop? This is actually the base of my corner frag tank. Ingenious right? ::) This is where this tank will be set up.

My command center (desk) is getting close to being set up with the new computer and surround sound stereo. I built this desk with a spare counter top, some plywood, and oak trim. I coated the counter top with epoxy to match my stand.

The look and texture up close. Alright, thats enough showing off my desk that doesnt really relate to this build. ;D

This will be my skimmer for the corner tank. Its a ReefOctopus. Not exactly sure what model, but I know its a couple years old and rated for over 300 gallons. When I saw it up and running it was pulling skimmate like a champ.

Speaking of skimmate. This is what my Eshopps PSK300 has been pulling since I got back home from Florida.

Also, on an unrelated note, does anyone have an ID on this?

It looks like a montipora vaguely but Im really not sure. Its a bright green and grows as fast as montipora does.

As always, thanks for reading! Any input is appreciated.
