    Very nice Norg.

Impressive regardless of the phos levels.

I see you have Paul's old Formica corner tank. I'm sure going to miss him at the frag swaps. You've got big shoes to fill, lol! Keep up the good work, although its not work when you love what you do!

Haha. Yeah I dont have a float switch set up on my RO unit. I should get one but Ive been putting it off. After flooding my basement multiple times (thank god for the floor drain) I put that sign up. Ive only done it once since then. Haha.

Thank you Cheryl! I really try to keep up on my tank husbandry, but the water changes I was doing was more harmful than good. I was burning through lots and lots of GFO still to have high PO4 levels. Now my levels are very close to being in check and they will stay that way. Im looking forward to seeing more coloration and growth as a result of this.

Paul gave me an offer I couldnt refuse on that tank so I had to take it! He is one hell of a guy so Ive got my work cut out for me to be filling his shoes. Im confident that I can do it though. I do love this so its really not work. I love spending time in the "lab" so its always enjoyable. Ill have to post the floorplan and update this thread a bit more. Lots more is about to happen in the next couple days.

Me too, because judging by the coloration of your corals I would never had suspected a phos problem. Guess you did mention an algae issue not too far back though. I am sure in those types of larger frag systems burning through the GFO might get costly.

There were some corals that were more affected than others. I really attribute the coloration and health from most of my colonies to Paul Law. The ones that look the best were from him. He knew what he was doing. Ive had my fair share of mess ups during this build and problems encountered but everyone has them. I feel really about the future. I have the equipment and have gathered enough knowledge to carry out the build the way I want to. As well as have coral health and growth the way I want to. Of course the learning never stops, but Im light years ahead of where I was even a couple months ago. No where to go but up. With that being said, here is my floorplan for the "laboratory."

The desk will have a computer, and the couch was offered to me from a friend. It has a pullout bed that is actually pretty comfortable. I might end up sleeping down there from time to time. The 90 gallon might be upgraded to a 120 gallon. Im not sure just yet. There are still some variables that need to be handled but in time it will work itself out. Ill post some more pictures of the current build with the existing frag system soon as I finish the plumbing and the frag racks.

Haha. I forgot to mention... My house was built in 1941. We didnt have central air until late July. I paid for a large portion of it because of how hot my tank was running. Definitely a set back financially, but after living 19 years in this house without central air it was well worth it! The guy that installed it left the refrigerant line bent out of place and it looks like crap at best. The work was sloppy and the refrigerant line is completely in my way for the 300 gallon tank. Always something to fix...

What are your plans for selling corals? Local, internet, swaps?
