Thank you very much for the feedback. Im going to give this a shot right now. Its really loud right now. Thats just because of the shear amount of water being moved. Id say atleast 800 gph from each line going to the fuge. Hopefully this will get the noise to go away or atleast cut down on it.

Hey guys. Time for an update. Ive been jam packed with work, so not very much has been done. But its still something. I have frags in the tank now. So thats some good news. Pictures pictures pictures.

I just like looking at the tank from this angle. Haha.

The fuge with some chaeto. Lit by a 6500k 26 watt cfl bulb.

I still have a few more to move but here are the majority in the tank.

I recently started using a ph and alkalinity buffer as both levels were very low. Hopefully doing this will really help the corals grow. The eggcrate shelving is VERY TEMPORARY. I want black eggcrate but to get it here will be over 100 dollars.... I cant really justify that for a few sheets of stupid plastic. I may just use white. Before I know it coralline will be covering the whole thing anyway. Thats it for now. Feedback is much appreciated.

Small update. Frag rack is complete. Or mostly complete. I may tweak it a little bit yet. I added my lemon damsel and firefish from my 14 gallon. Both acclimated well. The firefish is hiding and the lemon damsel is by far the most timid fish Ive ever had so he will probable take atleast a month or two to be comfortable again. I also placed a decently sized order of frags. 19 zoa, sps, lps frags and a clam. I got a very good deal on it. 150 dollars shipped. Very happy about that. The shipment will be coming in this week. Pictures...

I also added about another 30 pounds of rock to the fuge and a few more rocks to the DT.

On a side note. Im very very impressed with my BoostLED 135MU unit. I had to move everything down when I switched the frag racks. Everything opened up a bit more. So the light may still be too intense for the frags. The coloration on many of my frags is improved. The pink candy cane pictured has started to change colors. Its showing streaks of a slightly greenish tint. Ive never seen a candy cane like it. The growth rates havent really been measurable because the tank hasnt been established very long. But I can tell small amounts of growth in a few frags. Im sure that growth will soon be exponential as the parameters stabilize completely. Ill post pictures of the adds after they have settled in. Wish me luck acclimating 19 specimens and a clam! I may need it.

Thanks guys! It went as well as it could I suppose. The company I ordered from didnt package it as well as I hoped. There was some leaking and the bags were hardly filled with any water. I wanted to drip acclimate them and then do a dip in CoralRx but there wasnt enough water to drip them properly... Oh well. I contacted them and pretty much just threw the frags in the tank. All but one survived the leak and the company is being responsible about the mistake. So all is well. The frags are all very small though. Ill post pictures tomorrow. I was going to today but I didnt know if any were really following this thread anymore and they werent open to their full potential.

...still following along. ;) Hopefully the rest of the new corals are OK.

Is the company going to ship you a replacement for the one that didn't make it or did they just give you a credit to their store/site?
