Wow. Looking great. I'm a new fan of nano systems and the only thing in my way pf setting up one in my room is that I have to clean up the corner in which I want to put it::)
I have the tank and everything I need except the drive to clean my room.

Great finds at the coral swap BTW. Love the Acan;D

Awsome Norg....I went back through your post and it looks like we decided on the same light. I modified some legs to get it off the top a little. I had to start over. I cooked the rocks and I am re-cycling with the new light right now

Very cool. Light and legs are looking good. I just wish there were more choices for lighting in a tank this small. Oh well. I will be doing the same to my tank in the future with the legs, but my room is typically very cold so the light being directly above it actually is a help to me.

Thanks! Im working on getting a light that better shows how much color they have. Then I will be happy. Also later today I plan on adding a small pink birdsnest frag. We have a couple spare ones just laying around. Haha.

Well, thought it would be time to update... Unfortunately not the happiest update, but an update none the less. My cleaner shrimp had some sort of parasite, I knew that previously, but it seemed as though she was doing fine and would pull through. I found her dead yesterday morning. My nitrates must have spiked from her death because everything looks terrible. Last night I added a clearmax phosphate pad and things are starting to look better. Nitrates dropping and cyano disappearing. My large colony of green slimer acropora broke out with RTN and had to be fragged. It is now in 9 different pieces in our fragging set up. And I spotted two aphasia nems. Not sure where they came from.

:( Oh well. I don't have as much time as I want to be working on this tank anymore and I'm not liking it very much.
