I can't seem to find anything labeled nori in the lfs and forgot to ask yesterday while I was there if they sell it.

I found seaweed it was red and a blue one is that the same? Or should I be looking directly for nori is there s brand?

    Nori is seaweed

so what you have found is probably OK

The word Nori is often more used in grocery shops or Asian food markets
when looking for a cheaper source of seaweed sheets

at the LFS - algae sheets
    at the supermarket - Nori

they are to all intense and purposes the same thing
although the Chinese supermarkets near me dont have the Julian Sprung brand LOL

No IMO it does not make any difference

just watch out for additives - they do spicey roasted Nori which is flavoured with peppers

so just read the label and make sure its plain Nori

Also getting it from a store can often mean a better quality product (for human consumption) and its a few hundred percent more cost effective :)

I get mine from the seafood counter at Publix. they sell a package that doesnt have any additives and my tangs LOVE IT. They wont let a 1/4 sheet hang around in my tank for longet than a few minutes.
