    Hey All,
I need to stock up on some Nori for my Yellow Tang and other tank mates. I ran across sheets of it for $2.50 at the local Jewel store and I was wondering if its safe. The ingredients say roasted Nori.

    Is it safe?

    Thanks!

You want to favor the Dired Nori over the Roasted. The roasted typically has oils added to it and is typically what is sold at the big chain grocery stores. If you can get to an oriental food market look for Dried Green Laver.

One of the Nori I use is Dried and the Other Is Toasted.
Here are pick's or the packages. There is no mention in there ingredient's of oils being added, Just Seaweed
But you said roasted and not toasted, So there may be a difference. :-/

Hmm, never looked into toasted. It's probably fine. I'd use a small portion and see if they like it. BTW, if you do get to a asian food mart it's about 1/2 the price of a Jewel.

They Seem to like them both, But I think they go for the dried a little more over the toasted. I will have to see if there is an Asian food store around and check them out. Thanks;) John

If it turns into a PITA finding one, shoot me a PM. It's a quick stop for me.
