How do you keep nori together in your tank long enough for it to be eaten by your tang. I attach my nori to a small section of pvc pipe with a rubberband, but in a very short time say a few hours the nori because very soggie and tears away when the fish are nibbling at it. I'm sick of seeing it laying on the sand bed behind my liverock not getting eaten.

    What's the secret?

A veggie clip may work better. I use one (shaped like a clam) and it holds it well.

'Seaweed Selects' stays together pretty good if I only put in enough for the fish to eat in a day. If I put in more than 4 inches of it, then there is some laying around the next day that breaks loose.

I use the seaweed selects brand, and I've tried veggie clips, but for some reason my fish won't eat it off the clip. Anyways my problem is I might be putting too much in at one time. I normally attach a strip maybe 5 inches long. I can try just putting a little in at a time.

I fold my strips a couple of times so there is more in the clip ... otherwise the current blows it away inside of an hour.
