Is there any difference between the nori for tangs and the stuff we eat?

When my tangs were alive, God rest their souls, I used nori from the supermarket and they enjoyed it very much. Don't waste your money on the stuff from the LFS, it is old and 2x-3x more expensive.

It is pretty much the same. However I think most grocery store nori is smoked or roasted not just dried like the fish store stuff. I also think the fish store nori can be a little bit wetter(less dessicated) depending on the brand.

That said my fish eat both but prefer the fish store brand(julian sprungs). I also should mention like all things they very by brand. I have gotten some really smokey seaweed from the grocery store before.
