So I had one tang and last night I added a yellow tang and a sail fin and the two yellow tang look to have problems!

The two yellow tangs run up aginst the glass and every thing. The old yellow tang is winning I guess you could say what should I do? I already tried feeding like 3 times lights have been out for like 15 hours! I am lost

My purple tang rides the glass on occasion and Ive had him for almost 2 and half years.. If they are running up on the rocks and stuff there may be an underlying disease issue. New fish tend to ride the glass till they get acclimated.

Seeing that most of the fish are from the Zebrasoma side of the family. They tend to be a bit more aggressive. If it is indeed the 65G tank you have posted into your signature. If all do well more then likely there will become territorial issues with the fish once they get larger. The zebrasoma family once settled in can be quite the harassing group.

Take one back to the store
Give it some time - They might settle down.
Or divide them within the tank - putting some egg crating in the tank and dividing it. It does cut their space down but lets them see eachother and Hopefully will help reduce stress and broken fins and scrapes.

You have 3 Tangs in a 65? I am not sure but I am thinking the Tang Police will be along shortly.
I have a 125. I have a Yellow Tang and a Blue Hippo. They get along fine. However, at one time I had a Purple tang in the mix, the fighting between the Yellow and Purple Tangs went on for months. Nothing huge just the occasional fits with eachother. I finally got rid of the Purple Tang.

    I hope your trolling...
its not about them swimming in different spots first its territory but its also a matter of being responsible, 65 gallons 3 tangs thats like putting 3 great danes in a house with food water and no exercise as long as they are not bumping into eachother they should not die but they surely wont be happy I would also assume the life expectancy would be shorter.

I just think that before you make a post saying that they arnt getting settled in you should read about the background of the fish and what other recommend and then base your choice on that I have had people say 1 tang is bad in anything smaller than a 100g and ive also seen videos of tangs in 30g longs just cause it can survive doesn`t mean it living a healthy fair and happy life.
sorry if my post offends you or anyone cliffs-take the fish back /rant

Don't say your lost and ask for opinions and advice if you are just going to blow them off Do your research before buying the fish and hopfully you Came to your senses and returned them you have to remember that them living a year or two is quite short I've seen people with tangs 10+
