    Me a d my girlfriend are looking for ideas for a reasonably priced vacation spot in the northeast.not necessarily reef related just some place we can go for sat/sun.any ideas?

    Poconos during this time of year is going to be very crowded IME. You might want to plan your vacation around what hotels have any openings because of that. Or you could go camping?

    +1 for camping. That's what I'd do. Perfect vaction for the girlfriend and you to show your wilderness skills and manliness. 8)

    Ive called a bunch of places and surprisingly they arent that busy so they say.were trying to go all inclusive if we can.I would do the camping thing but sleeping on the ground in this heat doesn't seem so apealing lol.she's a vegetarian so my manly hunting skills would be working against me lol.and picking berries isn't so manly even if I grew a brolock beard lol.I did do a 9 day survival thing afew years ago wich was cool.only a knife, some string,a water bottle and flint stone(and shoes and clothes of coarse). I actually enjoyed that but I don't think she would be down for hunting anything other then berries lol
