Off Howe and Folsom ish... same stuff as O street. O street has better coral and SPS. Aqua only rocks the run of the mill softies and LPS, not spectacular pieces. Lots of fish. Mid-high priced though.

You're right everybody has their own experiences. I've been shopping at O St for over a year and at Aqua Workz for probably six months though much less frequently and never ran into any problems with either one.

I like O st I got my pepermint shrimp there for $5 they were marked @ 7.99 but i told them I really needed one and only had $5 for it so they brought the price down. :)

I still mostly go to Aquarium Depot but they don't have half as many corals as O st, though they are getting more...

I've only recently gone to aqua works it's owned by the aunt of the guy who owns O street. It's not bad but between the two places I don't much care for the family of the owners, they seem to know how to clean and bag the product but not much more. At aqua works the like only white guy there knows his stuff but like I said the rest of the family just does not seem interested in knowing. I want to go to aqua depot but it's just a long trip from woodland.

The guy at O street was nice we chatted a little and i asked him how much for a good sized jasmine polyp he had and it was a bit bigger then i was looking for and he fragged it on the spot for a price i was more looking to spend as well, and what's cool is it had a mushroom on the frag which i guess got tossed in for free =P he also mentioned something that would give good color accent and he was right so i got it too =P

I wish there was a local coral grower/fragger that would give a discount shipping rate for those in the local area like other places I've seen. But I could be asking the world it seems =P

SO The point of the thread was to chat group up swap stories and just meet one another! And after what felt like forever it's coming together! I know if I really wanted to meet a lot of reefers I could join MARS and take the time to drive out to Folsom but I'm lazy as a college student should be =P

Yeah we should do a meet up, it would be nice to know some other reefers in the area, the only other one I kinda know is my dentist, though I've traded or bought frags/equipment with a few people.

I guess I just don't have a sense of time when it takes to driving =P Well if you guys want to rattle off a few places you wouldn't mind meeting up at so we can get a general idea of what your range is? I like parts of Natomas but I'm a bit more flexible =P Also what days or times would be good for you all?
