Sorry but I dont know how to post the pix, This came on a coral my wife bought from a friend and I have never seen anybody like this. What is he?

look up chiton

 

I enlarged the pic, and it looks like a cowrie possibly. But then again, its hard to tell from the pic...

If it looks similar to this pic, then its a type of cowrie....

 

I looked up chiton and it sure is a chiton. couldnt really find anything other than size or they are edible. I didnt see anything about reefs.

 

don't chitons have scales not one shell? they don't look like chitons to me I have 6 of them.

 

Dont go by what brian posted, those arent my pix. I have those also and those are diff.
