not eating

    i got a long tentacel anemone 3 days ago have tried to feed it shrimp by placeing it on the mouth but it just will not eat what should i do

    Hi Milo,your nem may just need more time to acclimate,I wouldn't worry about it .I actually never feed my green bubble tip,it just feeds off of the light and whatever fish food drifts into it.Yours may retract its tentacles and move around a bit til it finds a place where its comfortable,what kind of light do you have it under?

    how old is your tank? typically nems need an established tank to do well. ie 9 months to a year. also as sailor said, it might not be comfortable yet also
