Ok 3reef i know theres not a lot of high schoolers on here but im going to ask anyways. Anyone is welcome to answer, 'high schoolers', 'collegers', 'real worlders' ;D Anyways, finals are now 2 weeks away, im a freshman in high school and i want to know how i should go about finals. No teachers have given us anything to study or guidlines on what to study for so my question is, how do i study and prepare for finals? Winter break ends this week so i wanted to start soon. Maybe right after new years. As i said, im a freshman so im not used to finals and as most of my teachers say, none of us have any idea how long and hard you really have to study for. I wanted to say, hell ya we dont so please, inform us!! ;D So my question is, how did you go upon studying, did you just review ALL of your notes from the beginning of the year, what have you learned in the past from finals, and finally, what did your fish tank look like during finals and is there any time in the day to tend to it?

So, as the title says, during these 2 weeks im probably not going to be attending to my fish tank let alone 3reef :)cry::angry::() so 'see you later' ::)

Don't fret over HS finals, it's the college ones that you have to worry about. I've found the best place to start is to just go over previous tests until you know those by heart. From there you can go over hw assignments and such. I'll be honest, when I was in HS, I didn't really do much studying at all and made it out with a 4.0. College is a little different. I study much more now than I did in HS, but I study everything I just told you.

Review tests, then notes. 95% of everything on the final will be in those.

i never studied in high school or college but if i were to start i would look at all previous test papers and review notes if you make em. ive studied more for this hobby than anything else.

i ticked off my college prof. he asked to borrow my text book and when he opened the page the bindings made the crackling noise. he looked at me and knew i had never opened that text book. this was at the end of the semester. i think it ticked him off more knowing i was still an A - B student

Thats messed up NU!! I'm calling the IRS!!! ;D

Anyway cira, don't get uptight. If you've done good on your tests through the year, just review.

If you wanna do better on certain subjects like for college and stuff, review notes and the corresponding Chapter highlights. I wasn't the best student in High School. I barely squeeked by, but hey, I made it!!!

Try and give us an update if you can.

    Good Luck!! :thumbs_up
