Ok, cool. I'll keep an eye out. I don't even really know what I'm looking for, honestly. I want something all inclusive; actinics, daylights, moonlights. The search marches on!!

    So I'm thinking.....
If I do a 4x24w in a 25g that should give me around 3.85wpg. That should be enough to keep a lot of polyps, correct? I'll keep looking for higher wattage but that seems pretty good for just T5HO in a small tank.....

    More wattage?

Did I do my math incorrectly?? Geez, that was never my strong point :shifty:

I have no idea.....this is the one I'm looking at though so really any advice would be awesome.

This is exactly what I have and my polyps are doing great. I bought a frag with 10 heads 1.5 months ago and I now have 18 heads. Another frag that I bought had 22 heads on it now have 29 in one months time. My LPS are doing well to. My frogspawn has doubled in size within 3 months. My candy cane have grown extra heads. And my most recently added Trachyphyllia Brain opens up nice and wide. My toadstool looks good to, it opens up nice a wide for the pretty lights. They must be getting the what they need out of 4x24 watts of T5 light in my 29 gal.

I don't know if I would try SPS and definitely not clams, but I'm recording success with LPS, softies, polyps and mushrooms.

I'm not interested in SPS and all so that's awesome!! I'm really glad to hear that folks are having success with these lights. I'm trying to do only the upgrades that will allow me to keep what I like. I don't need MH because I don't want to keep SPS, clams, anemones and the like.

    Awesome! Thanks for the encouragement!!
