Well last night I took a quick final peak before hitting the sack and I saw this Black slug-looking thing with a yellow/cream cat's eye type stripe down it's back. I have never seen it before and it looked like a snail that left it's shell (slug) but none of my snails are black. It was about the size of a quarter and it even had some snail-like antennae....

Any thoughts on this? It was dark in the tank and my low-tech camera would not have been good enough to get a good shot of it.

    thanks!

I would have to say it is almost exactly the scutus antipodes. It's listed as an algal eater, so am I safe or should I be concerned?

    thanks reef guru!
