Not really sure what it is

so i've been watching this thing for a while, i was looking in my tank today and noticed that it had moved, so i was able to take a pic of it, it's pretty hairy looking. Is this thing just apart of the live rock?

 

Weird.. in what way did it move?

 

Looks like some one drew a black arrow all on ur tank

 

i'm not sure it was in one spot for the longest time, so i looked where it was, it wasn't there, then i noticed it was in the spot where it is now, it's a small hairy ball thing

Hmm pull it out for a closer view, and just encase.. do you have a fuge or sump? Put it in there till you can ID it.

 

nope don't have a fuge or sump, but i'll try to play with my camera again to take a closer shot

 

I just saw a monster the other morning in my tank.. I'm gonna need therapy... Was lookin for my Mandarin to feed her early in the morning when my moonlights were just on.. Shined a flashlight on this 6" tentacle coming out of the sand in the back of the tank. It freaked and descended into the sand quicker than !@#!. My eyes bugged out and sat staring at the tank for about 10 min.. lol. How is it I have never seen this giant.. OMG. I think it's a bristleworm.. could be alomost 10 inches
