I live in a condo and got a notification on my door today that they will be cutting all power to my condo on Wednesday for approximately 4-6 hrs. I don't have battery backups on either one of my tanks and don't know what to do or if I should worry at all. I will be at work during this time but can come home on my lunch if there is something I can do to help my tanks along... Any suggestions or will they be ok?

Will everything come back online alright when the power comes back on?

If so, I would think everything should be fine. People make it through moves putting a lot more stress on livestock for longer periods of time. I would probably schedule my next WC that night just to combat any rise in nitrates/phosphates due to the filtration and waterflow being offline.

Thanks for responses. I work next to an equipment rental company and I am going to ask to borrow a small generator for tomorrow and see if I can keep things running without interruption. If not I will look into a battery pump... I was most concerned about heat loss
