Since I added my new little Maroon, my anemone has developed what looks like little tears around the edge of the lip. There are like 3 or 4 spots across the edge that look to have this, they are white in color. I'm not sure if it is trying to split since it now has 2 clowns hosting on it, if it is due to the usual light nibbling that the clowns do to it, or if it was caused by a sharp edge on the LR. I don't have an actual photo of it here at work, so I just drew on an existing picture to give an idea of how it looks. I'll try to get a picture tonight when I get home though. I've only read about how anemones split, how they pinch themselves in half, but have never seen it myself so I have no clue how long it actually takes for them to split.
    My params are:
    SG: 1.024
    Temp: 78ºF
    NH3: 0ppm
    NO2: 0ppm
NO3: ~5ppm (less than 10ppm on an API test)
    CA: 440
    Mg: 1400
    dKH: 12
    Thanks guys.

I believe they split overnight or over the course of a day. It doesn't take long. It may be splitting, but if this has been going on for a while I doubt it. If it does, awesome though. Free anemone.

Darn, it's been like that for almost a week now. I guess it either got snagged on the rick or the clowns nibbled at it. :( Hopefully it doesn't get infected.
