    First WELCOME WELCOME!!! :)

Are you having any water quality issues feeding that way now?

You will find a lot of conflicting information about what and how much and how often to feed

I think the standard is how eever much they can consume in 3 minutes,

Welcome to 3reef. This is normal for them.

I don't think you are underfeeding.

If anything you may be overfeeding. I usually feed every other day, no more than 5 times a week. I was taught to think of a fishes stomach to be about the size of their eyes and feed accordingly. I have had numerous fish live past 13 years in my tanks and have a sebae anemone that is 21 years old so must be doing something right.

You are getting the algae from the extra nutrients you're putting in the tank. You will need a CUC if you want to continue feeding as much as you are doing now. However even if you cut your feeding back a CUC is great for your system they get things before they can become a problem and help keep water params inline.;)
