    my params
    nitrate 0
ammonia .50 ? think its a decaying fish i have yet to find
phosphate test 0 tested 2 times due to algae out break gunna take to lfs tomarrow also

Saltwater ich is a nasty little bugger and in order to kill it all it needs to be starved out of a tank...if you get the fish out and treat them, there is no need to move your corals...Ich will only feed on fish. The fish need to be out of the tank for 4 weeks minimum to starve out the crypto population.

There are many different opinions on QT a fish. I personally don't do it because I feel that it stresses the fish out more, making it easier for the ich to take hold of them. I only buy healthy fish and will spend an hour or so in a fish store watching a fish that I want to buy, just to make sure he has no characteristics of a fish with a parasite. Is this 100% effective? No, but it has worked flawless for me. Given proper nutrition (this is why i make sure i see the fish eat before it goes home) a fish should be able to fight off the ich itself... I find garlic to be a great supplement for boosting an appetite, thus boosting the health of said fish.

Ich can be VERY frustrating so just hang in there.

oh boy sorry to here about the troubles.

The best way to think about ich is to think of it as a cold. If given proper nutrition and care the fish will naturally fight it off. If the fish is stressed to the max try decreasing the photo period by 2-3 hrs (or as much as possible) and add some vitamin supplements to the food.
Moving the fish to a QT can be even more stressful for the fish so i would hold off on this as a last resort.
IME you need to focus down on your water params. Get that NH3 to 0, and get a test kits for NO2 and NO3 and get both of them to 0. make sure you pH, salinity, and temp remains stable from day to day. eliminate these variables and i think you will be in good shape.
Also are you running a skimmer? if not you should consider buying one (sry i dont know enough about ur tank). Consider running carbon and/or GFO as well to help get rid of any unwanted chemicals you may have.

My hippo tang had ich for a month about 2 years ago but i just made sure he was eating well and made sure my water params were solid and he kicked the ich and it has never shown up again on any of my fish.

    Good luck!

yea i was using ro but havnt changed water due to the ich treatment says not to for a week. im down to one fish a damsel and hes stop showing signs of ich an twitching so i think hes gonna be ok. i want to change the substrate to sand so im gonna pull my coral to the 10 gal leave my live rock in and pull crush coral out then it can do its mini cycle. im thinken mantis tank again i never had these probems when it was my mantis shrimp and 2 fishl. but i think my biggest mistake is not qt the fish, corals and such which iv learned my lesson on.

i am running a skimmer and carbon and puragen and another chem filter which is said to remove nitrates and such. its all a week or more old. i always replace the filter media once a month or so.
