    In the last few days, now that I have my water parameters under control...I've noticed a few dozen white spots on the back of the tank and on the rocks. When I looked closer, they were almost a spiral shape. Are these young snails?

    Most likely juvenile feather duster worms :)

    That makes sense....I just added some live rock a few weeks back. I saw some tubes that had died off soon after lying on the bottom and a few still on the rock. Cool! Now I need some duster food...lol
