Ok I'm not sure what to make of this or what this may be. My tank has been up and running for 2 months now. Everything is fine but I saw this yesterday and don't know what it can be. I don't think it's fish eggs. Can snails reproduce in the home aquarium?

My fish list consists of a YWG, Flasher Wrasse, 2 O clowns (not mated pair) Tomini Tang and a Foxface. Two blood red shrimp, a couple of hermits and a whole lot of snails.

This picture was taken of the left side of the overflow where the majority of the snails hang out. If anyone has seen this before or has had this and can tell me what I'm dealing with and if I need to remove this right away. Thanks

Yes, snails can lay eggs, they do not look like snail eggs to me, unless they are pods of eggs

Ok that sounds like it's good to have. They are pretty small even though they look bigger in the pic. I zoomed in to try to get a close up. They are as white as they look in the pic. I also found some more in the crease of the corners.

Nerite eggs, they most likely will not hatch and those that do don't survive. This normally occurs in brackish water for survival.

2in10 congrats by the way on becoming a mod. Should I leave them in or just take them out?

Ok I'll leave them alone since no harm will come from them being there
