Ok went to a going out of buisness sale today. come out with a brand new in the box 12gal aquapod, the current tank stand, a 20lb bag of live sand, and 8lbs. of base rock. . . . . . $100.00. I thought that was pretty good. I know im going to have to upgrade the lights, the pump maybe. . . what else? give me some ideas people lol. haven't desided what i want to keep in it yet, depends on what kind of lights i end up with.

p.s. i got a new camera today too so i went a lil crazy with the pics

    Looks great. Congrats.

What kind of lights on it now???

You don't need much in a nano depending on what you plan on keeping.

I only have 24w 50/50 pc lighting on my 12 gallon nanocube, and it is doing great for what I have in it.

Don't know about pump. About any kind of filtration system will do as long as you clean media and do water changes at least weekly.

Might want to add a small powerhead to increase circulation...:-/

    Have fun.

Hey, why don't you move some of those corals, or at least some pieces of them, from main tank to nano...;)

My 12 gallon nanocube (up since July last year):

If its the aquapod with 54watt's I wouldn't worry about upgrading the lights for a while.. But like omard said, it all depends on what you want to keep.....

it just has the 2x27w in it, i have a kolaria nano im going to try in it. i might upgrade it the the 2x32w retro kit. i read a couple places that the fans in the aquapod arent any good, we will see tho. but light u said im not going to worry with them for some time. my biggest problem now is do i move everything from my 10gal in to it or do i keep them both up????? lol
my wife said no more tanks but i can be persuasive when i want to be lol, she calls it manipulative but i just dont like that word

don't ugrade to pcs, IMO. upgrade mh. Omard, I had a lot of my frags over there and they lost there color, and the anemone moves like crazy. The clown is an a hole too, hits everything I put in there. He will also burry things,
