Nova Extreme HO 4-54

Am I going to burn my condo down? I mean the fan get's very hot over the course of a few hours. I'm afraid of this thing sparking when no one is home. BTW it's well protected from water by two glass canopy's and every wire has a drip loop. Anyone have any gentle words of comfort?

 

I use the same fixtures, 3 novas to be exact. 1 4x54 and 2 24x2. If you go to wally word or walgreens they have nice little fans that work great at keeping those fixtures very cool. Mine are never even warm to the touch. I too have galss canopys I removed the splash gaurd too. You can see them in the pic. Did you check out that video? I posted it under fish tanks, people don't like my music choice.

do you have sitting on top of the glass tops or on the legs?
