Nova extreme plus extra t-5's

    I am buying the nova extreme 36" 4-bulb fixture, and I know it will put out enough lighting for my needs. However I will have an extra 24" dual bulb Coralife t-5. Would it be good to use these as well? I figure more lighting wont hurt.

    You wouldn't need to use it with your current coral selection and probably not even if you went all SPS in your tank.

    Save for a refugium if you decide to have one.

    If it'll fit I'd say go for it. It definately isn't going to hurt anything.:)

    Well I was going to keep it in hopes that I might be able to get some corals that more more light demanding. Would this still not be enough for some sps corals?

    You should be fine for SPS with your new fixture alone adding on the old fixture will only help.

    run them both.. more bulbs over tank, leave you with more color options..
