TEK lights put out more lumens and PAR due to the individual reflectors

Don't know anything about the nova as I have never had it. But with the TEK I love the light but am just now getting my faith back in it from going through two ballast and the fixture was only a couple months old. They took care of it of course on their dime but all in all. great fixture. I think I just had a lemon and they made it better.

The individual reflectors will make a huge difference. Also, you get to choose your bulbs, so you won't be stuck with the sub-standard factory ones in the Nova. Third, the TEK is a much higher quality unit that will last you a lot longer.

I just bought an 8x54W TEK fixture myself. I wouldn't even consider the NEP over TEK.

You ain't kiddin' Brandon. I have been drooling over this setup for months now. Going to play around with bulb coloration big time. It's going to be fun.

Actually, it's a used set. Broken in for six months. No problem there. I was a little concerned about it too.
