nova extreme pro stock bulbs=bleaching?

    hi all, i have the 6 bulb nova pro setup over a 72 gallon and my buttons,and any sps i try bleach real quick could it be the stock bulbs,they come with 460nm bulbs they should be 420 right? thanks guys and gals for your help as always.....

    what lights did you have over the tank before hand? if you upgraded did you light acclimate them or just toss them right in?

    no i have had these lights for 6 months now, from the start of this tank..

    are the corals bleaching out as you put them in or did it start suddenly? What kind of lighting were they coming from before going into the tank? have you tried lowering them down in the tank?

    they bleach when i put them in and they are all under MH lighting at the store

    Are they bleaching out like loss of tissue or losing color and turning more pastel?

    both some turn lighter and some lose all tissue and die?

    I have seen many corals turn a lighter color with T5 like more of a pastel color esp monti caps, as far as them losing tissue and dying, what are your other parameters? How warm is the tank?I honestly can't imagine that the NOVA is cranking too much light on them, I would say temp might be an issue.Know anyone in your area with a Quantum meter? :D

    no on the meter and the tank stays steady 78 to 79 but it remains the same always? could it be the stock bulbs just suck? if you pm me your email address i can send pics that way, all other parameters are on the mark if anything they are a bit high do to me trying to help, cal 460 mg 1600 phos 0 alk 3.9+++ ph 8.2 all others 0? my GSPs are the only ones doing good??????
