    lets not hate on the lagoon tank. lagoons are beautiful, that just needs a some sand bed cleaners.

    That's what I was commenting on. If you have a DSB and you don't have the proper number and proper type of sand-stirrers, you end up with an ugly display under the sand. The cyanobacteria and Hydrogen Sulfide draw your eye away from the tank.

    That's Cool I actually thought about doing this (when if I buy a house)

    Having 2 tanks seperate places in the house then run a tube in between them so the fish could go back in fourth. I think that would be cool.

    How realistic of an idea would that be? Think it would work?

    I think we're missing the point of that display. It is a scientific representation of what is in nature. The oceans are a complex eco-system that can't be stable without certain parts being ugly. The only difference between them and us is that they didn't hide their refugium under a cabinet.

    They need a tidal tank with wave maker to act as a skimmer. That would be amazing!!!
