NP Bio pellets ~ need more insight.

I have been doing some reading on the web over the last week and have learned a few things but also need a few answers. I know that the Bio pellets is a form of carbon dosing. It is used to help reduce the N & P in your tank. It will help with getting rid of algaes in the tank and clear up the water. My question is I want to know from anyone with any long term experience (3 mos or longer) on the effects of it on their system. Do you have any documentation (Pics) of the tank from before bio pellets to now of how it has effected the tank good or bad. What was your reason for starting to run the bio pellets and has it help clear up the issue? What brand of pellet, what type of reactor, how much flow are you running on it. The effects on the tank once started to now? I know there was a thread started about running them but the tank got dismantled so there was not a long term report of the experience. Any more insight would be helpful.

Thanks Steve, I have read that thread but was wondering if anyone else had experience with them. I am especially intrested in some sort of documentation of what everyone is seeing happening with their tank since they started running (Pictures, Log Book, Etc...) Good or Bad.


Anyone got any experience with Bio-Pellets??????
