I don't really need an ID on this little bugger, just wanted to post it so others who may not know what they look like can see it.

I came home last night and saw this Nudibranc sitting as pretty as can be on my Orange Monti Frag. Right in the area where it
was the Monti had turned white.

Now I know he hasn't been in there long or there would be more white spots on the Monti frags. So I can only assume it came
in on my new Fungia, I dipped it but it must have made it past the dip, tenacious little SOB!

Quarantine the coral if you can. The adults aren't that hard to kill but the eggs are nearly impossible to get rid of. Take a close look underneath or at the base of the coral for jelly like masses. Use a magnifying glass if you have one. If you see eggs, scrape them off. Keep inspecting the coral daily and remove any adults, dip and scrape every few days. Hopefully, Tangster will see this and let you know what worked for him as a dip to kill the adults.

I have used Praziquantel successfully on the adults as a dip. It works great. The brand name I used was Prazipro by Hikari.

I inspected every piece of coral for both eggs and adults last night. Didn't see anything but I am going to keep a real close watch.

He is currently sleeping in a small chunk of ICE on may back deck till I get home!

OK, I e-mailed Roger and he replied:

"What Curt posted works well. Also I used the mixture of 20 drops of flatworm exit to a gallon and also the Poly OX at a 5 mi to a 1/2 gallon. Also peroxide at 15 mi to a 1/2 gallon. Also kick Ich kills the adults but it’s the eggs that are a ***** to kill. But like Curt said the Prazipro works well we use that in large ponds and I used that also worked as good as the clout did but the Poly Ox worked the best.. for us"

Unless you know what to look for and have a great eyesight or a magnifying glass the eggs are often over looked they burrow down into the base in between the blades of the host coral and lay in the shadows and dark crevices.. Best thing you can do is break the coral up and frag it tightly and flat to the little square flat plugs and glue them well so the adults can not gut up under the coral to lay again then set the frags up on a hanging type platform off of rocks and bottom sand then inspect the frags daily and use a old tooth brush to scrub around the edges of the new frags .. But until you remove the food source you will have the pest.. Takes a few months to totally starve them out.. The lemon wrasses seemed to help control the adults.. But with a adult that large you have many more in the works and lots of eggs somewhere in that system..Sorry to say.. ):

All that are good/reef safe do not last long and are not a good idea and those that do well in a reef setting ): are never good. I'd never try to keep them like the more ornate ones like the Spanish Dancers all die .. Reason is like the ones we are discussing here are all very specific feeders and with this model they only eat Montipora corals remove their food source is the only way there is to rid the system of them.. So if you have any like these you have a problem ):
