I found a yellow nudibranch in my tank thats about 1" long. No distinguishing features of any kind other than color. should i put it back in the tank or toss it? I have 2 maxima clams, frogspawn, assorted mushrooms and zoas.

From what I know they cannot live for any extended period of time due to their diet requirements. Even specialized feedings usually do not take. More than likely it will starve in your tank. I know personally I don't want things to die a slow death, and at the same time possibly cause harm to other species by dying and affecting water quality.
