Can anyone who knows about nudibranch ID the following? If possible with the type of food they eat? If it's coral, what kind of coral. If it's sponge, what kind, or whether they would eat planktons etc. Sorry for the photo quality.

Pic 1 looks to be a Lavender Nudibranch (Chromodoris bullock),
Pic 2 looks like a Orange spotted Nudi (Gymnodoris rubropapulosa)
    Dunno about pic 3 though.

You would have to flip the 3rd one over, but it looks like an Chromodoris annae.

Yup, and the middle one is colored like a Gymnodoris (they eat other nudibranchs) but the angular structure on the dorsum makes me think it's probably a Halgerda species instead. If it's not a Gymnodoris, then all three of them are obligate sponge eaters, probably feeding only one one or a few species (that probably aren't growing in your tank).

    Cheers,

    Don

Sorry my mistake, the last one is actually chromodoris magnifica. ;D

I am interested to know if there was a successful story on keeping these snails? They don't seem to live long in the wild either, most probably will just live for a year assuming they are healthy of course.

yes, the second one looks exactly like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halgerda_stricklandi

Yeah, the google search I posted was just for "Halgerda," I'm not sure how the carlsoni part got in there.
