    Sorry Corailline, I didn't mean any offense. They just didn't look like any type of sponge I've seen before. And they look like they have antenna or pincers and look "fuzzy".

    I guess with between 5,000-10,000 different species of sponge (Wikipedia) they could look like anything.

    ;D Actually I should have been more specific to the type. You are right they are very odd looking and might not appear like the typical sponge you see.
