This is my first salt ever. Ive had fresh water for over 10 years and 2 months ago I took the big step...~
I built my 20 gallon sump. My canopy is still under construction but just mounted it on top. Most of my rock was dead 2 months ago but i seeded them with some rubble and a live rock with coraline on it which is now starting to show up on all the rock. Hopefully tomorrow or the next day 50 more pounds of dead rock will be in from Reef cleaners and Ill have my T5s mounted in the hood.

Made a video of the setup. First salt and custom build. - YouTube

    I know how that goes!

What are your plans with the tank as it matures?

You'll quickly learn that most here preach patience. That is driven, in large part, by boss ladies across the nation :)

Welcome to 3reef. I like your setup, a little bit more of dry rock would be beneficial too. 8)

I do have 50 more pounds of rock on its way but I want to keep the tank open.
As far as any plans? Still just researching. I'm going for easy right now. After I get the new rock in ill get a clean up crew and start adding some beginner corals. If it weren't for the niece I still wouldn't have the clown but figured I need something to help cycling anyways

I did have that rock stacked pretty cool a few weeks ago but my first lesson was learned having a circulation pump and suction cups in the same sentence....~ oops
