If your current setup is fine I would just hold off till you saved enough for the proper setup. For me I realize having the right equipment saved me from a lot of headaches. I sort of piece meal my 150 and with the 210 I made sure it was planned out it's like night and day compare to what I had in the 150.

yes but then you also have to factor in Wife Agro. A lot easier to explain a $120 purchase over $500

I know what you mean. But in all fairness I think getting somethig really good and not losing money later on is better. I would just put the cash away and buy use :)

On my 55 I have (2) 1050s and (2) 750s, all controlled by my Reef Angel's built in wavemaker. Lots of flow obviously! I would say if you do go with Koralias, go with (4) 750's and see how you like it. I don't think 550s are powerful enough for a 4' long tank.

Hydor Powerheads in my expirience have a very strong stream heading in 1 very specific direction. IMO I would rather have something that spreads out nicely and effectively.

I mostly agree, which is why I aim them at each other. This, combined with my wavemaker produces some nice and random/turbulent flow. At some point I will likely upgrade to a couple wireless Vortechs, but the Koralias do the job for now!
